A Swift Stroll - Santa Monica Pier
Growing up in the Tulsa area, Route 66 holds many familiar sites. There is much of it, however, that I have not seen. It is on my bucket list to start in Chicago and drive the entirety of what remains of the historical route. I imagine that will be a retirement goal due to the time that it would take. But… If it never happens, at least I can say that I have been to the end of the line.
My wife and I were in the Santa Monica area last summer and wanted to walk the pier. It was chillier than expected and somewhat hazy, but there was plenty of activity.
This is exactly as the title states— a swift stroll on Santa Monica Pier.
